Biblical Mary
Mary was HUMBLE and OBEDIENT; she called herself the handmaiden of the Lord.
Mary knew she herself needed a savior. Which means she was not exempt from going to hell. Scripture states in Luke 1:47 “My spirit has rejoiced in my God my savior.”
Mary wasn’t born sinless, her father was a levitical priest and she was raised under the belief of the true living Elohim. She was a virgin, therefore she was chosen by God to birth Yeshua. The same way Elizabeth was chosen to birth John the baptist. Who also came from the levitical priesthood.
The bible NEVER declared Mary as remaining a virgin after the birth of Yeshua; infact if she had remained a virgin that would’ve violated her marriage covenant with her husband Joseph that was put together by Adonai. As he states in 1 Corinthians 7:4 “The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.”
Mary was a normal wife and mother, she had other children with Joseph after the birth of Yeshua. Scriptures prove this in Mark 6:3 and Matthew 3:55-56 where it mentions the names of Yeshua’s brothers as: James (Jacob), Joseph, Jude(Judas), and Simon. There are also verses that mention Yeshua having sisters but they are unnamed in scripture.
There is NO biblical proof that shows Mary didn’t die like a normal person, and there is NO proof that she ascended into heaven.
UNbiblical Roman Catholic Mary
In 1854 the papacy declared Mary sinless.
In 1951, they declared she ascended into heaven, where she was “crowned” “queen of heaven.” Which is known as the Assumption of Mary.
The pope created a fest day honoring the “Queen of heaven” aka Mary. The pope has no authority to add anything to the word of God. All of the feasts that exist in the Bible were created by Adonai Elohim and they shall remain. Scripture specifically tells us not to add or take away from the word.
Immaculate Conception “Mary was conceived sinless, without original sin and all holy.”
Perpetual virginity, Yeshua’s brothers and sisters are viewed as cousins.
Catholics are the adoptive children of Mary, People love to use John 19:26 as a form of validation “When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” Even though scripture CLEARLY states that when we believe in Yeshua WE receive the Spirit of Adoption of Hashem according to Galatians 4:5-6 Yeshua came “to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”
They have created statues and images of her standing on the serpent when in Genesis 3:15 it clearly states; And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.” She hasn’t defeated or overcome anything her SON has.
The pope has taught Catholics to view Mary as an intercessor to Yeshua. They pray the rosary to her when Yeshua clearly states in John 14:16 “I am the way, the truth, and the LIFE. NO ONE comes to the Father EXCEPT through ME.” Also in Matthew 6:7 Yeshua teaches us how we should pray to the Father; he also proceeds to mention “When you pray, don’t babble on like the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered by repeating their words again and again.” Below I will attach information the pope has spoken to catholic believers.
“The sinner that ventures directly to Christ may come with dread and apprehension of his wrath; but let him only employ the mediation of the Virgin with her Son and she has only to show that Son the breasts that gave him suck and his wrath will immediately be appeased.”
Pope John Paul II believed that Mary intercedes for the faithful who honor her during mass: (www.amazingdiscoveries.org)
“As they listen to the word proclaimed in the Sunday assembly, the faithful look to the Virgin Mary...From Sunday to Sunday, the pilgrim people follow in the footsteps of Mary, and her maternal intercession gives special power and fervour to the prayer which rises from the Church to the Most Holy Trinity.”
